A 16-year-old Westcourt youth was charged with eight property offences on Saturday following an investigation into offences committed in Townsville earlier this year. Cairns Property Crime Squad detectives charged the boy with unlawful use of a motor vehicle; entering premises with intent; entering premises and committing indictable offences and other offences. He will be dealt with under the provisions of The Youth Justice Act 1992.
