Detectives from the Cairns Child Protection and Investigation Unit charged an 11-year-old Manoora boy on Saturday with a total of 24 offences including stealing, trespass, enter premises with intent, and wilful damage. The charges follow investigations into property offences as part of operation Elevate, which commenced on July 4. He is to be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
