Youths arrested in stolen vehicle, Westcourt

olice intercepted a Toyota utility on Collinson Street at Westcourt in the early hours of this morning after recognising the vehicle as being stolen from Portsmith earlier in the morning. A 16-year-old male youth from Woree and an 18-year-old Whiterock man were charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The man is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 22 and the 16-year-old will be dealt with under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
