Zila Biotechnology carries out clinical trials on its novel products. ViziLife Plus, an adjuvant to conventional oral examinations, is currently marketed using its chemiluminescent technology for the identification of oral abnormalities, especially those undetected during the conventional visual examination. ViziLite-identified lesions are then marked with TBlue to allow visualization of the abnormality under regular patient lighting. Clinical studies are currently underway to strengthen the Company's data portfolio of efficacy and to identify and evaluate cytological components which may be responsive to both ViziLite's chemiluminescence and TBlue.
