This spring time aerial shows the striking beauty of the upper Western Branch of the Corrotoman River. In colonial times when the rivers were the highways, the Lancaster County Courthouse was located at the head of the Western Branch in the geographic center of the County. The Village of Lancaster can be seen in the upper right hand corner.
