Visit Kaw-Ligas and Friends in Summerville to see Steve & Harriet O'Rear's designs and steel silhouettes in light: fire screens, chandeliers and sconces, gates, hat racks and furnishings. Each original design is laser cut, then constructed by Steve, and powder coated for long life. Most pieces are inspired by the mountain flora & fauna, deer, wild turkey, spider webs, waterfowl, song birds, white oak trees and wild flowers. Iron Age Crafters has received awards at the Southeastern Wildlife Expo in Charleston, the Blue Ridge Mountain Art Festival and the New Salem Mountain Festival. Steve & Harriet have exhibited for several years at the prestigious Plantation Wildlife Art Exhibition in Thomasville.
