Seven Lakes Country Club

Golf

Nestled among the longleaf pines just 10 miles from the village of Pinehurst is Seven Lakes private country club. Open for selective, non-member play, this 25 year-old course was designed by Peter Tufts, great-grandson of the founder of Carolina's most famous resort. Created in the tradition of Scottish architects of the early 1900's, Tufts cleverly adapted the creeks and lakes with the pine lined fairways. Water comes into play on nine of the eighteen holes. According to Golf Digest our 4-star rating is "outstanding...plan your vacation around it".

Sandhills, NC Golf Vacations by Golf Zoo

This area's Scottish Heritage and turn of the century villages makes our golf culture come alive. The Sandhills extends to include many other communities also known for its beautiful landscapes and challenging golf. Located halfway between New York and Florida, and halfway between Appalachian Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, the Sandhills is without a doubt one of the most scenic and enjoyable destinations in the world.

The region's courses are as beautiful as they are challenging. Well-manicured greens meander through stands of stately pines and magnolias and along sparkling lakes. And the region's four distinct, yet mild, seasons permit year-round play.
