Although it is slightly shorter than the North Course, most people find the narrow fairways and the first five holes to be arduous. A narrow creek that winds through this course comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Finishing on the same 9 holes that the PGA Tour finishes on, is a nice experience while at the same time a difficult one considering the PGA Tour nickname for the final 5 holes on the South Course is the "longest mile" on the PGA Tour.
