Hilton Theatre
Theatres
Canadian impresario Garth Drabinsky tore down The Apollo and Lyric Theatres to create Ford Center For Performing Arts in 1997, which housed his production of the musical Ragtime. Clear Channel Entertainment joined forces with the Hilton Hotels Corporation to rename the Ford Center for the Performing Arts the Hilton Theatre, beginning January 2, 2005. The theater is extremely wide and every seat gives an excellent view of the proscenium stage. The best seats are in the rows with the double letters.
