The Lake Placid Summit Hotel Resort is a good lodging option for travellers looking for basic accomodations at an affordable price. The hotel is conveniently located just steps from Lake Placid's Main Street with all its shops, restaurants and activities, and is also located one half-mile from the Olympic Center. Each guest room features private bath, cable TV, clock radio, hair dryer and coffee maker. Each room consists of two double beds or a king bed. There are also two bedroom suites with one king or two double beds in each bedroom. The hotel is located approximately ten miles from the Whiteface ski area. Free Town Shuttle available to slopes at Whiteface Mountain. Guests will enjoy FREE continental breakfast every day before Jan. 1st and from Monday to Thursday after Jan. 1st.
