An important fixture of Champaign's revitalized downtown, Boardman's Art Theatre shows popular independent films and more movies as well. They also host University of Illinois film festivals during the academic year. I personally love their vegan cookies and the mural of stars painted on the front wall, with hometown legend Roger Ebert in the front row.
