2009 Portland Rose Festival History & Roses Tour presented by Windermere
In celebration of the Rose Festival’s strong ties to Portland history, this year’s History & Roses Tour presented by Windermere showcases a selection of vintage Portland area homes, landmarks and gardens. Each location has its own tradition or historical significance involving the Rose Festival and offers a glimpse of early Portland life when the festival was young.
This year we expand the Tour to include Oregon City's historical heritage in honor of Oregon's 150th.
Locations on the Tour are open various dates and hours; each location on the Tour may charge an admission rate. Discounts are available with the History & Roses Tour Passport, which can be purchased for $5 at the Rose Festival office or Dennis’ 7 Dees landscaping and garden centers.
Go to www.RoseFestival.org for additional tour site and Passport details.
