Food For All
Using the fenced in school garden area the chapter will plant greens including lettuce, swiss chard, parsley, endive, arugula, broccoli, kale, kohlrabi, potatoes and cabbage to supply to the school lunch program salad bar and kitchen. The grant will allow the chapter to expand by planting other vegetables according to the season and donate to the local food bank. FFA members will also host workshops on gardening for the community.
