In addition to providing a fresh protein source to the local food bank, FFA members will learn about raising poultry and all the benefits of raising broilers as a very sustainable agricultural method. Students will also be designing a brochures with nutrition values as well as how to cook poultry safely and what one might pair it with for a healthy meal. This will help ensure families are eating the protein source in a healthy manner.
