Measuring 6,906 yards from the McCumber tees with a slope of 133, the course makes extensive use of lagoons and bunkers to add interest and challenge. Mark McCumber has personally redesigned the course with emphasis on the traditional and classical principles of course design. He has built interest, challenge and strategy into the course while preserving the natural beauty of Sea Pines. The par-3 15th hole, one of the most photographed on the East Coast, is even more spectacular than before. The tee has been elevated to offer a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean. The new Ocean Course provides a fair but demanding round of golf amidst the beauty of Sea Pines. (Stay and Play require minimum 2 nights and 2 rounds of golf)
