Rensselaer Plateau Animal Sightings
Thank you for visiting this interactive map of animal sightings on the Rensselaer Plateau. You can click on the map to zoom in and re-center, or click on a marker to learn more about that sighting.

To add a sighting to the map, you will need to become a member of CommunityWalk. Joining is free and easy. To join, select the Signup link at the top of the map. Once you have signed up you will be able to add sightings and edit your own previously added markers.

Select the Add Marker link at the top of the page to add a sighting. You can enter GPS coordinates or mark a point by clicking on the map. Be sure to zoom in on the area you are interested in before trying to add a marker by clicking on the map. To add markers using GPS coordinates, the coordinates need to be in decimal format. Include as much information as possible in your description, including the time and date of your sighting.
