In the Spring of 1998 Clara Brownell Middle School was awarded a seismometer. We are part of the PEPP Seismic Network that contributes to the PEPP Earthquake Database. The information that we provide is then shared with anyone who has Internet access and a desire to study seismology.

Scientists Project on Wiki
Collaborative project with Science Department using the MediaWiki Server. Students are creating wiki pages to write their scientists reports.

Administrative Moodle

The Umatilla School District Administrative Team began using a Moodle this year to:
1) Learn how to use one of the current technologies that teachers have access to in the district,
2) Share and react to the book they are currently reading (Learning by Doing, DuFour, DuFour, Eaker and Many)
3) Store handouts and share experiences from the "Curriculum Mapping Activity" the district is undertaking this year.
