This place is fantastic! It has been around for a long time, and we always love coming here.

From their website: Located at the top of Potrero Hill, Lingba Restaurant and lounge feels like a tropical oasis in the city. Executive Chef Derek May blends the freshest local ingredients with traditional spices to create delicious, contemporary Southeast Asian cuisine. Lingba also features unique tropical cocktails and nightly DJs, to a backdrop of palm trees suspended screens.

Aperto is a small neighborhood Italian restaurant in the heart of Potrero Hill in San Francisco. We are dedicated to serving the best seasonal, local and organic products that we can find.

We feature Fulton Valley Poultry, organic Australian Lamb, Niman Ranch meats and only wild caught fish and shrimp. We take great pride in our food, service and wine.

Our menu changes with the season and we offer great daily specials on our chalkboard. We offer over 16 wines by the glass, as well as full & half bottle selections of domestic and Italian varietals.

During the warmer times of the year we have an outside seating area with our seasonal herb garden and olive bushes.

We accept reservations for parties of six or more.

The SF Bay Guardian Reader's Poll voted this the best independent coffeehouse in San Francisco. And I agree with them. This has long been a favorite!

From their website: Roger Farley Hillyard broke his coffee pot back in 1988 and could not find a store to purchase a replacement part.

After scouring the city, Farley’s was conceptualized as a coffee and tea store. Through various incarnations, the present day concept of creating a place of community for the community was developed.

After a small fire delayed the initial opening, Farley’s “grand opening” took place on St. Patrick’s Day, 1989. Farley’s has been right at home on Potrero Hill ever since.

Farley's goal is to create a focal point for the community where everyone is comfortable and welcome.

By creating a personable place, a human place, Farley’s provides an arena for people to interact with one another. The character of Farley’s mirrors the uniqueness of the people and allows for a genuine and distinctive experience for everyone.

Growing up, dinner time was an integral part of family life, it was the only opportunity we had to be together and share our everyday experinces. It was always a time to relax and feel confortable in a very warm and familiar atmosphere and enjoy good, simple home cooking.

We were a family of only four but it seemed like we were forty; singing, making jokes, arguing, crying, but mostly laughing. There were times when I hated those dinners but they are now the most precious memories of my life.

Having been in the restaurant business for eighteen years I have seen many styles and ideas on the dining experience but my dream has always been to recreate and share these types of evenings I enjyed as a child in South of France. The atmosphere is warm, friendy, and boisterous much liie the temperament of the people of Provence.

Another great place that we have enjoyed for years!

From potrerohillshop.com: At Eliza's you will find a warm and cozy atmoshphere that is artsy, but not overwhelming. The Hunan and Mandarin style dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and seasoned just right.

Eliza's is also excellent choice for those in the neighborhood for take-out.

Recently opened by a friend of ours, this place is great. On nice nights sit out on the patio and enjoy the warm Potrero Hill weather and enjoy some of the best casual French food around. On other days the interior's color will warm you and keep you happy.
