Quint Essentials
96 Wharf St
Salem, MA 01970, US
978-740-2877
Quint Essentials was started to offer women a one-stop shopping experience for all women’s fashion accessory needs. If you buy a new suit or dress, or simply need to update the wardrobe you have, Quint Essentials will have the perfect item for your ensemble. QE offers a wide range of accessory choices and price ranges, with quality always in mind.

QuintEssentials began in 2006, with Dianne & David Saia. Dianne has experience in the retail industry and most recently in the direct marketing field. As Director of Operations in the corporate world, she found a necessity for collecting classic suits and dresses that can easily be accessorized and updated without the constant shopping that trendy shopping requires. “Who has time for that?” she remarks. “I’m not in high school anymore. I know what I like, and I know what I look good in. I don’t feel like I need to buy new suits every season—just change the accessories that I have and freshen up the look. However, I do recommend buying quality. Try to not buy quantity, but quality. Quality clothing will hold up to cleaning and wear.”

Following this philosophy, Quint Essentials is evolving as the store to visit for quality accessories for active women. Quint Essentials carries many handmade products that are as distinctive as they are beautiful. Additionally, we carry products made in the US and abroad that are also characteristically beautiful, unique and value priced.

"The elegance of the Lyceum's high-ceilinged front rooms and glass-walled back rooms matches the sky-high quality of the food, which attracts local businesspeople as well as out-of-towners."
- Frommer's Boston 2008

George Harrington established the Lyceum Bar & Grill in Salem, Massachusetts in 1989 in a historic former lecture hall made famous by the likes of Thoreau, Hawthorne, Emerson, and Alexander Graham Bell.

Long before Bell made his first public phone call, in 1877, from the Lyceum, Bridget Bishop tended her apple orchard here, next door to her house, from where, in 1692, as an accused witch, she was dragged to jail and hanged at Gallows Hill.

Where food for thought was once the bill of fare, all of us at the Lyceum Bar & Grill welcome you to enjoy our relaxed, hospitable, and stylish eatery. So come visit a piece of history and join us for lunch, brunch, or dinner featuring Chefs Hugo Corado's and Mark Johnson's intriguing global cuisine at affordable prices.

Samantha's Costumes

"Samantha's (named after the Bewitched character which has kind of become the mascott of the town) has loads of costumes for purchase or rent. It covers the goth market, the sexy nurse market, the ren fair crowd all year long. Really, if you are looking for a costume, I would check in here first.

The costumes are all high quality, none of that orange trashbag+broken mask Garfield gear I had when I was a girl. The prices are fair to accommodate any budget. Tons of masks, sunglasses, and assorted doo dads as well. There are also some bins of cheap jewelry and cases of bling at the register."
