Field Trip

On the 17th of November 2006, we went on a field trip with our schoolmates and teachers by subway to the center of São Paulo. The aim was to get to know better the History of the city we live in.

Estação São Bento
This is the place where we arrived, where the field trip really began.

Edifício Banespa
This is the place where we can probably get the best view of São Paulo.

Edifício Martinelli
This short building was the highest skyscraper of the city a couple of centuries ago.

Páteo do Collégio
This is were the city started... Unfortunately the woman that presented the place to us was a real pain...

São Francisco Church
The church was presented to us by a very friendly priest. Afterwards, we went to a place where tea and bread were served to poor people... It was quite a sad picture, but at least we knew they were happy (at least for a second there...)

Estação Ana Rosa
Surprisingly this subway station wasn't as crowded as it is normally, so we could get inside the subway train easily.

Stock Market
This place was quite interesting, but it was also quite hard to understand peoples' explanations about how it works.
