Field Trip
On friday 17th November, 66 students from the 2nde and 1ere ES of the Lycée Pasteur of São Paulo, made a trip to the historic center of São Paulo. They went there by foot, so they have taken the subway to get there at 8h30 with 4 teachers and they came back at 16h.
There they visited the Patio do Colegio, which is where the city was born... then they went to the Bovespa, the stock exchanges of Brazil.

The Subway: Characa Klabin station
The subway station stay at the other side of the street! We took teh green line until the next station: Ana Rosa.

Here got out and we took the blue line which take us to the center of the city.

Here is the square where we stopped and we had some explanations about the center!.. We could see from there the Martinelli's building, the vale do Anhagabaú and the Banespa building.
The Patio do Colegio
Actually it is not the first time we have been there.. but this museum today has been refromished and today meens a lot to the city. The hole town of Sâo Paulo organized among that house, today the museum ratracts the story of Padre Anchieta which was a preast who was sent from Portugal to convert the indiens to the catholic religion. After the Patio do Colegio we visited the Bovespa.
Martinelli's building
Martinelli's building it's a big building which has an old style, like a gothic style. It was the first skycraper in São Paulo town.
Brazil's stock exchanges
The Brazil's stock exchanges is located in the 15th November street. We had a conference there and we also whatched a 3D movie, who explained how the stock exchanges works. There, we saw a little museum who tells the story of the Brazilian stock exchanges and the guide made a simulation to how to buy actions. It was veruy interesting!
Pit stop
We ate here in a little restaurant! We were 70 students and it was extremely hot!
The Banespa's building
The Banespa's building isthe the second higher skycraper in São Paulo after the Italia building which is also located in the center. Today the Banespa's building is a commercial building but the last floor is apropriated to visitors. From up there we can see the hole town, it 's amazing!
Igreja São Francisco
São Francisco's street is acctually more than a simple church... They have a lot of projects to help against the proverty. Here we saw a little bit of the church: the meditation room, the exposition room, etc.. and the preast explained us these differents socials projects.
O Chá Franciscano
The Franciscano's tea is one of the social prject.. The preast took us to see how the help the poor people.. everyday the gave them a tea and bread to help them..
The end of a tired day
At 15h40 we came back to the school by the subway.. That was a tired trip but avery interesting one..
