Unsilent Night
The streets of Middlesbrough reverberate with a magical and unpredictable soundscape as a Christmas carolling party passes through the town in a spectacular event first performed in Greenwich Village New York in 1992 …. …. and everyone can join in. This will be the third year New York composer, Phil Kline, has brought Unsilent Night – a unique audience participation work and now a cult holiday tradition - to Middlesbrough.

The Warrior Women
Hartlepool, ENGLAND TS24 8, GB
WARRIOR WOMEN are a group of women from Hartlepool who share a common experience of being survivors of violence and sexual abuse. They came together to produce work, which not only reflects their experiences but also is a celebration of their lives now. The group affords the women the opportunity to work through their problems and issues in a safe and secure environment using art as an expressive, therapeutic media with the support of professional artists.

Margrove Park
Saltburn By The Sea, ENGLAND TS12 3, GB
The Margrove Valley was formed in the last ice-age; a vsst meltwarer lake in a hollow in the hills.

It was a rural area untill the late 19th century with isolated farms. The railway line arrived in 1861 and of course this stimulated industry, building and growth. Ironstone mines and Alum works are the reason communities are here today. Seven Ironstone mines opened in the Valley between 1863-1873.

Sandra's Garden
From a TVCO Workshop in 2000. Sandra, declared that she really didn’t want to be there in the workshop and she felt that she was the token woman in the group. She said that she wasn’t interested in the Internet or web pages. The question was asked what was she interested in, and she declared she was interested in her garden, which she had spent a year renovating from a wasteland to something beautiful. So we decided to go to her garden. We then took pictures of Sandra’s garden and went back to the workshop where she produced her web page. All of a sudden the internet and producing web pages was something entirely different to her and she produced a page lovingly depicting her garden and what it all meant to her, despite her earlier contention that she would stay only 10 minutes, she stayed for the entire workshop and then she was delighted when she started to get e-mails as a result of her page going on the internet.
