Rosenblum Development Corporation received site plan approval from
the City of Albany for a boutique residential project at this site.

Rosenblum anticipates filing a condominium offering plan with the NY Attorney General in late summer 2009. The project will include two
levels of indoor parking, 24 luxury residences, fitness center and rooftop patio.

According to a 2/9/08 article in the Albany Times Union, the owner of the former Mooradians furniture building at 599 River St. in Troy NY has dropped their condo conversion plans.
The reason: poor market conditions and competition from other condo projects in the area. Instead, Brooklyn-based NADC, owner of the building, is considering high-end apartments.
