Great place lots of trails, highly recomended if you live in nj

I haven't been riding in a while, but I used to do the China Camp ride up in San Rafael, a short drive from San Francisco. It's a great ride but isn't too challenging.

ok, found this place on mtbr.com and would like somone to confirm its location, i know this is the place where the trails are, but the person gave bad directions on mtbr, it just said go in south of the lake, so you might want to duble check this ones location

Directions: Once you get to this point go onto sloatsburg road, and at this point you will see signs for the park, follow them and go to lot c

Plenty of well-maintained singletrack, as well as a fire roads and such.

Some great riding, but some trails are rocky as sin. Park here, ride up Sunrise Mtn Road to Coursen Trail, and go from there.

-Have to pay cause its a resort, and they have a Lift.

Airport Rd lot. Parking for a few cars or park in airport. Also great view of gliders taking off on weekends at airport.

Foot Bridge Park lot. Parking for about 50 cars. Beware of the horse droppings!

Northeastern trailhead. AKA Sparta Junction. Not accessable by car.

It is easy to take this trail instead of the Paulinskill trail by accident.

This area is the Berkshire Valley WMA. Head North to pickup the rail trial. This trail is shared with a large pipeline. For more adventure head due North.

Park here. Head South on Bartley road for about 100 feet and pickup the northern end of the trail.

"I go to Ramapo College and always see cars on the side of 202 with bike racks on them parked on the side of 202 north just north of Bear Swamp Road. I've never had a chance to check around there much but I just wanted to know where you find the trail from that parking area. I assume it goes along the river over the bridge on Bear Swamp Road."

"Once you go over the bridge you have three options:
Road to left will take you into nice housing area. or Stay staight and take bike around metal gate blocking raod. This is the way you want to go. or Go to right road blocked by chain. (Don't know where that takes you.)

If you go up the middle route the road climbs for about two miles then forks. The left fork takes you to the scout camp. I stay to the right and climb for anothe 1/3 mile or so. You will come to a lake on the left. Cross narrow wooden bridge and trails begin. Nice riding up there."

Great Trails, About 15 miles of riding, Map at entrence. Great for all levels, lots of techinical riding, fun log climps, big ups and downs, nothing to hard but not for the begininer either.
