Kevin's apartment has a couple of trails on their property that lead to the creek, which makes going down there MUCH more direct. The 'technial challenge' of the descent we took was not for the faint of heart.

Finally, we stop climbing. But the view? I wish my phone cam did it justice...

This was rough - I went over the handlebars here - GOING UPHILL. I know, it sounds crazy, but the rocks were brutal and there were dips in the trail on the way up...

I was incapable of more uphill climbing, and we literally had to break for like 15 minutes so i could hydrate. I've got to get clips!

This marks the beginning of the more tranquil portion of the ride. This side of the creek is less 'technically challenging.'

I mean, it's not gorgeous untouched wilderness. But it's a startingly asthetic view.

You can see houses up in the deep hillside that seem to jut out from sheer nothingness. But they are picturesque, and I'll have to get some photos of this shot on the next trip.

OMG - It's over. It was really exhiliarating, but I took a beating, and it was nice to be done.
