So while the first couple of days were a little uncomfortable because it was a new project and I was getting used to a) the equipment, b) the idea that I was doing the project, mostly I was not really concerned about the act of drawing the chalk line on the streets and sidewalks. At least by the time I got to Mill Basin I was pretty comfortable with it. But for some reason, this zipped up tight wealthy neighborhood made me really uncomfortable! I felt like there were people looking out through draped windows and guarded doors to see what I was doing (in contrast in other neighborhoods, they would just come on out and ask me what I was doing.) Seems strange that such close neighborhoods can be so different.
