Capitol Construction Workers

1905 Payroll, 1904 St. Paul City Directory and 1905 Census. Norwegian Peter Ingerson was born in 1855 and emigrated with his wife in 1882. He worked as a laborer on the Capitol construction. His son, Carl Ingerson, was a musician and activist in the Musicians Union who later became a doctor and served as Ramsey County Coroner from 1918 to 1955. Carl's daughter, Carol, married Duane Brekken and I believe some of their children and grandchildren still live in the area.
