Scheepvaartmuseum, the National Maritime Museum, on the Scheldt River. John and Anna Maria Spiekermann Green and family traveled 180 miles to Antwerp in 1846 from Heggen. Theresa Fassnacht traveled 310 miles to Antwerp in 1853 from Königheim, Baden, with brother Richard Fassnacht. In 1843, a rail line opened from Cologne to Antwerp.
